Core Features Available with Version 8
HTML Formatted Emails - For users integrating with Outlook as well as our Fleetware Online users, you can now setup customized email closings, so as to personalize your emails. This includes the typical font style, size and color. Graphics are also supported.
Emailing From Sendout Window - Additional email options are available from the Sendout screen. They include: Emailing a resume without the date/time stamp (for resending), Emailing additional documents, Emailing of Interview Confirmation Letters.
Additional Files – Any record in Fleetware can have an unlimited number of any type of file. This is in addition to the specifically named ‘Alternate Documents’. They can also be emailed, moved to the resume button, or switched with the resume.
Copy Resume to Additional File – You can copy the resume to one of the additional files positions by right-clicking the additional files button. This is useful to keep different versions of the candidate’s resume.
PDF Resume Support – you can now attach a PDF resume to the resume button. These can also be emailed out.

Document Interpreter (Resume Parser) - Middle initial and Social Security number are now picked up.
Record Attention Flags – Any Fleetware record can have an attention flag setup to automatically pop up when the user displays the record. This can be useful to alert the user of important information about the record, such as a ‘do not contact’ message.
Web Page Creator (For Posting Jos to Your Web Site) - You can now setup Fleetware to upload the web pages that are created, directly to your site. An additional 'index' page is now created. This allows you to have one page that lists each job title with a link to the full description.
History Menu – You can now quickly pull up one of the last 10 records you have viewed. Click History from the main menu to see the list.
Go Full Screen for Memo Fields – When in a memo field (one that is more than one row high) you can click Alt-B to expand it to full screen. Press Alt-D to insert a date stamp.
Create a Job Order from Client Screen – You can now create a new job order while viewing the client record. Use the special functions button to invoke this procedure.
View Jobs Associated with a Client Record – When creating a new job order from a client record, the system links the two together. When viewing the client record, you will see an option to ‘List Jobs for This Record’ on the top left of the tool bar.
Company Selected When Creating Sendout – When creating a sendout for a job that has been linked properly to a client record, you only need to select the job order when creating a new sendout. The Client record will be automatically selected.
Cross Search Candidates from Job – While viewing a job order, you can click the Search button to search candidate records based on skill/keywords.
2nd Sort for Standard Reports – You can now sort a standard/columnar report by a second data field. After picking the first sort field, the second sort field option becomes available for selection.
Include Sendout Activity for Standard Reports – When printing a standard/columnar report, you can now add the sendout activity.
View Weather Information for a Record – Right-click the text fields button to view the weather information for the location of the record. This will take you to Weather.com for that zip code.
View Map for a Record – Right-click the text fields button to view a map for the location of the record. This will take you to MapQuest.
Field Searching Dates – When performing a field search on a date field, you can now press ‘T’ to get today’s date. Press Y and Shift-Y to add or subtract years, M and Shift-M to add or subtract months.
Enhanced Transaction Reports – You can now view data transactions by users on-screen. Click the Tools menu item to access. Also, when viewing any record in the system, right-click the text fields button to see a list of all transactions for that record.
Popup Field Maintenance Simplified – Adding/deleting/modifying entries in a popup field has been simplified for easier maintenance.
Exit Prompt – Fleetware now prompts you when exiting to eliminate any accidental closure of the system by the user.
Right-Click Resume for Additional Options – You can right-click the resume button for additional functions. (Deleting of the resume is available for administrators only).
Right-Click Text Fields button for Additional Options – You can right-click the text fields button for additional functions.
Additional Outlook Support – While viewing any record, you can press ALT-T to create a new Outlook Task and ALT-A to create a new Outlook Appointment. Please note that this feature may not work for every version of Outlook. This feature is not currently supported, but is made available for your use on an as-is basis.
Auto-CC & Auto-BCC for Emailing – You can now have any email that you send out of Fleetware automatically set to CC or BCC additional addresses.
New Display Configuration – You can now set the data screen to display Notes, Skills/Keywords and Sendout summary information simultaneously. This feature is considered ‘beta’ and is not currently supported, but is made available for your use on an as-is basis.
Updating Daily Planner Action and Priority – While viewing any record by way of the planner, you can now update the planner action and priority entries.
Simplified User Setup – The ‘Rights’ level under Setup/Security has been simplified for clarity. If only one database is present, it will automatically be selected.
ALT-R for Relocation Insertion
– When in a memo field, you can press ALT-R to bring up a selection screen to
pick the various relocation regions. This is primarily for IPA members.
Additional Features Requiring Setup from Fleetware (may include additional costs)
Time Card and Billing System – The integrated time card and billing system is available for staffing firms. This allows for easy entry of time card data, billing of your clients, tracking receivables and extensive reports.
Calculation Fields – You can now configure your data screens to perform calculations (+-*/).
Auto-Insert User Initials on AddNew – The current user’s initials can be automatically inserted into a recruiter or A/E field when creating the record.
View Only Fields – you can designate certain fields to be view-only. This can be good for auto-calculation fields or fields displaying data from another record.
Status Triggers – When the ‘Status’ field of a record changes, Fleetware can be configured to perform some function, such as a prompt to upload or remove a job from your web site.
Web Page Creator (For Posting Jobs to Your Web Site) - In addition to our standard web page layout for jobs, the job page can be customized to fit just about any layout, using customized template pages. You can work with your Fleetware representative to layout your specific design. One-Page-Per-Job feature is also available utilizing Google's web page search.
Unlimitted Employment History - An additional grid is available showing an unlimitted list of previous employment history. This is designed to link directly to client company records in your database. This is designed for staffing firms.
Special Letters from Sendout – Print or Email capabilities exist to create a letter from the sendout window that can pull data from the candidate, job and client record. This can be helpful for placement, temp or temp-to-hire letters.
Auto Reports upon Logon – Fleetware can be configured to automatically run a report and display the report when a user logs in each time, or only the first time each day. The report can be completely customized to display whatever data is required. An example of this would be a list of the open jobs that are being worked on.
