How do I change my password?
Press CTRL-ALT-END at the same time. Click the ‘Change
Password’ button. Remember that your password must be a
minimum of 6 characters in length, include at least one number
as well as both upper and lower case letters.
How do I access files on my computer
for use in FleetwareASP?
FleetwareASP automatically creates a folder on your computer's C
drive called My Fleetware Documents. Place any documents
you want to work with into this folder. For convenience,
when browsing for these documents in Fleetware, you will
automatically be taken to that folder. FleetwareASP refers
to your computer's C drive as the U drive.
I have
an error that won't go away
You may have to perform the equivalent of a reboot of your
session. To do that, press CTRL-ALT-END at the same time.
Click the ‘Log Off’ button. This will close your
session so you can log in to a new one. If the error
persists call our support line at 888-435-3389.
I get the message - 'Unable to log you
on because your account has been locked out'
This usually happens when you have made 5 unsuccessful attempts
to log on. Your account will stay locked out for 5 minutes
and then be reset. If you still have difficulties logging
in phone our support line at 888-435-3389 for immediate
assistance.
When
I log in I get a blue or black screen, but no the Fleeware
Program.
The Fleetware program may be minimized or otherwise hidden.
You may need to press ALT-INSERT at the same time to make
Fleetware appear again. If this does not work, you may
have to perform the equivalent of a reboot of your session.
To do that, press CTRL-ALT-END at the same time. Click the
‘Log Off’ button. This will close your session so you
can log in to a new one. |
Accessing
FleetwareASP While Traveling
There are two easy ways to connect into FleetwareASP while you
are away from your primary work computer:
1. Log
In using our web portal
(be sure to allow installation of the ActiveX
component)
2. Use Remote Desktop on any Windows based
computer. To use this method, click the Start
button, All Programs, Remote Desktop Connection. (note you may
need to go into the Accessories folder to locate Remote Desktop
Connection). Enter fleetware.com for the computer name,
then click Connect.
